Siliguri Institute of Technology, came into existence in the year 1999 with a prior approval from AICTE and affiliation to West Bengal University at Siliguri. Initially starting with 4 courses the college is running 6 UG Courses and 2 PG courses at present . Sincere effort of dedicated faculty members, staff of the institute, adequate state-of-the-art infrastructure has made this college a unique one in its class. Situated at the foot hills of the Himalaya the college has earned enough reputation for its excellent track record in engineering education where placement facilities so provided by the college has been an added advantage to the college.
