It comprises following 7 Degree Engineering Colleges running Engineering Courses leading to B.Tech degree from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). Courses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Admission is through WBJEE, AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). 5 % seats are reserved for AIEEE qualifiers for Kolkata based Engineering Colleges while 15 %  for out side Kolkata based Engineering Colleges.
