Society: The Academy of Engineers (India) AEC was established in the year 1998 at Kanyapur, Asansol, and is now recognized as one of the priemier private engineering colleges in the state. The college with its sincere endeavour in propagating quality engineering education has been able to obtain the prestigious grant from the World Bank under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP). This AICTE approved college is at present running 1 PG and 6 UG courses with a student strength of 2,200 well supported by 185 Faculty Members.
