The Architecture programmes at Techno India Group are designed to cultivate thoughtful, skilled and future-ready designers. The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a five-year professional programme that situates the study of building design within wider disciplinary, cultural and environmental contexts. Students may choose Majors such as Sustainable Architecture or Urban Design, supported by Minors like Digital Fabrication Techniques or Landscape Studies.
Learners explore architectural and urban design principles while engaging with historical, social and technological issues that shape today’s rapidly evolving and increasingly urbanised world. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, visual and spatial representation, material understanding and design methodologies. Through lectures, studios, workshops and hands-on design exercises, students gain a comprehensive understanding of architecture, urbanism and environmental design. Coursework includes architectural design, materials and methods of construction, history and theory, environmental sciences, sociology, urban studies and computer-aided design.
In addition to the undergraduate programme, Techno India Group also offers a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) enabling students to pursue advanced, research-oriented learning and specialisation aligned with contemporary architectural practice. Major options include Urban and Regional Planning or Sustainable Built Environment, complemented by Minors such as Heritage Conservation or Advanced Computational Design.
This postgraduate programme deepens conceptual, technical and professional competencies through rigorous studio work, research seminars and field studies. It prepares graduates for leadership positions in design, academic research, planning agencies and consultancy roles within the architecture and built environment sectors.
